摘要:

量子存储在量子计算、量子网络、量子通信等方面均有重要应用。实现高性能量子存储,并探索其功能应用可加速量子存储器的实用化。本报告介绍如何基于大光学厚度冷原子系综实现高效率量子存储,其中存储效率超过85%,保真超过99%。基于高效率量子存储器发展了一套单光子相位调制技术,将光子的同步与相位调制功能集于一体,实现了确定性的HOM干涉,通过改变单光子的相位分布,观测到了干涉后的聚束与反聚束效应。最后,利用量子存储作为光子-磁子非厄密分束器,实现了单磁子与单光子的HOM干涉,并利用该非厄密分束器演示了多光子干涉。

简历

王云飞博士华南师范大学副研究员。2019于华南师范大学获博士学位后留校工作。从事冷原子量子网络方面的实验研究,方向集中于单光子产生与操控、量子存储与中继、波长转换等。在Nature PhotonicsPhysical Review LettersSCI刊物发表文章8篇,主持国家级科研项目2项。

*Abstract:

Quantum storage has important applications in quantum computing, quantum networks, quantum communication, and other fields. Implementing high-performance quantum storage and exploring its functional applications can accelerate the practicality of quantum memory. This report introduces how to achieve efficient quantum storage based on large optical thickness cold atom ensemble, with storage efficiency exceeding 85% and fidelity exceeding 99%. A single photon phase modulation technology has been developed based on high-efficiency quantum memory, integrating the synchronization and phase modulation functions of photons to achieve deterministic HOM interference. By changing the phase distribution of a single photon, the bunching and anti-bunching effects after interference have been observed. Finally, using quantum storage as a photon magneton non-Hermitian beam splitter, the HOM interference between a single magneton and a single photon was achieved, and the multi photon interference was demonstrated using this non-Hermitian beam splitter.

Dr. Wang Yunfei, Associate Professor at South China Normal University. In 2019, after obtaining a doctoral degree from South China Normal University, he stayed on campus to work. Engaged in experimental research on cold atom quantum networks, with a focus on single photon generation and manipulation, quantum storage and relay, wavelength conversion, and more. Published 8 articles in SCI journals such as Nature Photonics and Physical Review Letters, and led 2 national research projects.
